Ready when you are

Aim from the castle wall, fire a twelve-gun arsenal, and build rune towers to stop a four-act siege.

About the game

Take the wall. Build the rune line. Break the siege.

Castle Rifle Prototype combines first-person shooting with active tower defense. Hold the wall across a 20-minute, four-act, 12-round campaign, switch among 12 firearm loadouts, and spend battle coins to install, upgrade, and repair 12 rune-tower families. Enemies span 28 combat roles, from infantry and casters to siege vehicles and airborne raiders, with maintenance phases between waves for fortification and armory decisions.

How to play

  1. Click the battlefield to lock the pointer, aim with the mouse, and move with WASD.
  2. Fire with the left mouse button, aim down sights with the right button, and reload with R.
  3. Use 1–5 to switch equipment. Shift sprints, Space jumps, C crouches, V goes prone, and Q or E leans.
  4. Aim at an available node and press F for field installation, or press B to open the deployment map.
  5. Build, upgrade, and repair towers during maintenance, then survive all four acts and 12 rounds.
  6. Use the on-screen pause and restart controls whenever you need them.

Play better

  • Mix direct fire with tower coverage instead of trying to stop every lane with the rifle alone.
  • Use the maintenance window to repair damaged towers and spend coins before the next assault begins.
  • Match tower roles to the incoming wave intel, especially against airborne, shielded, or durable enemies.
  • Crouch, go prone, or aim down sights when precision matters, then keep moving when the wall comes under pressure.
